About Me:
For the past few years I have been teaching Dynamic Earth Systems (a combination of physics and earth science), Weather & Environment and AP Environmental Science.
My educational background is in geology. I obtained both a bachelor's and Master's degree in geology and then worked for a few years as an environmental consultant in the Chicago area prior to getting my teaching certificate and Master's of Education in Washington state.
When I'm not teaching at NCHS, I study and teach tae kwon do at a local martial arts school and I do indoor rock climbing. In the summer I usually travel, which allows me to build up the resources I can use in my classes.
